The short version: this website exists to help you find us and reach us. It doesn’t ask you to create an account and doesn’t process payments. The personal information we collect is what you choose to give us — through our contact form, our newsletter signup, or by calling, texting, or booking — and we use it to respond to you, provide care, and keep you posted about Root if you’d like — never to sell to anyone.

What This Website Collects
Contact form. Our “reach out to you” form (on each page, and behind the Request a Callback button in the header) asks for your name, phone number, and email address, plus whether you’d like a text back, and it records which page of our site you sent it from so the right person can follow up. Submissions are processed through Google Forms under our Google Workspace account and routed into the practice systems we use to respond and schedule. We use this information to get back to you. We may also contact you about our own services, classes, and health information we think may interest you — you can opt out of those messages at any time, using the link in any email or by emailing privacy@rootbozeman.com. Please don’t use the form for medical questions or emergencies: call us at (406) 219-5388, or call 911 if it’s urgent.
Newsletter. If you subscribe on our blog page, your email address is collected the same way (through Google Forms under our Workspace account) and used only to send you the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter email, or by emailing privacy@rootbozeman.com.
Job applications. If you apply for a role, you send your resume by email to our careers inbox, and we use it only for hiring.
Calls, texts, and email. When you choose to contact us directly, we receive the information you share (like your name, contact details, and what you’d like help with) and use it to respond, schedule, and provide care.
Server logs. Our website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like nearly all web hosting, Cloudflare’s infrastructure records standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) to serve and secure the site. Cloudflare’s handling of that data is described in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Cookies & Analytics
Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site — which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors come from, and which buttons get used. It doesn’t tell us who you are, and we don’t use it for advertising. Google’s handling of analytics data is described in Google’s privacy policy.
Performance measurement. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure how fast the site loads for real visitors. It is designed to be privacy-first: no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting.
Embedded content. Our homepage includes an embedded Google Map to help you find the clinic. When that map loads, your browser communicates with Google, which may set cookies or collect data under Google’s privacy policy. Our classes page embeds our class-booking provider’s schedule (Punchpass), which loads content from their site under Punchpass’s privacy policy.
Beyond the services above, this site does not set its own tracking or advertising cookies. We don’t track you across other websites, and because there is no cross-site tracking to turn off, this site does not respond differently to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
Booking, Classes & Third-Party Links
Clinical appointments and intake paperwork are handled on our scheduling provider’s system (Prompt), not on this site. Scheduling information you enter there is governed by that provider’s privacy practices; your intake answers become part of your patient record with us, protected under HIPAA and our Notice of Privacy Practices.
Yoga and mat Pilates classes are booked through Punchpass, with payment handled by Stripe on Punchpass’s site — both governed by those providers’ privacy policies. Punchpass’s pages also use their own analytics and tracking tools, separate from ours.
The same goes for links to our social profiles and other outside sites: once you leave rootbozeman.com, the destination’s privacy policy applies.
Your Health Information
This website is not a patient portal and is not intended to collect health information. Anything you share with us as a patient — at the clinic, by phone, or through our scheduling and records systems — is protected health information handled under HIPAA and our Notice of Privacy Practices.
Please don’t include detailed health information in the contact form, an email, or a text message — those channels aren’t designed for it. A phone call, or a conversation at the clinic, is the right place.
Children
This website is intended for general audiences and doesn’t knowingly collect personal information from children. Information about pediatric patients is handled at the clinic under the same health-information protections described above, with a parent or guardian involved.
Your Choices
You can browse this site without providing any personal information at all. If you’ve given us your contact information and want it corrected or removed from our outreach, call or text (406) 219-5388 or email our Privacy Officer at privacy@rootbozeman.com and we’ll take care of it. (Clinical records are governed by health-record retention laws and our Notice of Privacy Practices, so they work differently than a marketing list.)
Changes to This Policy
If our practices change, we’ll update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect.
