root therapy & wellness

At Root, we emphasize building a strong and trusting relationship between you, your body, and your healthcare team, with the shared goal of delving deep and getting to the ‘root of the problem’ affecting your health.

Come experience
The root difference.

Root Therapy and Wellness is a holistic physical therapy and occupational therapy clinic that focuses on helping individuals improve their overall physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Our approach is centered around treating the whole person and addresses the root cause of patient’s health challenges, rather than simply treating isolated symptoms or conditions. We create personalized treatment plans that are tailored to each individual’s unique needs and goals.

The team at Root includes experienced and highly trained physical and occupational therapists who work collaboratively both within Root and with outside practitioners to provide the best possible care and support for our clients.

Lymphatic Drainage

Myofascial Release

Myofascial release is a type of manual therapy that involves applying gentle sustained pressure and stretching techniques to release tension and restrictions in the fascia, a connective tissue that surrounds and supports muscles and organs, to reduce pain and improve mobility.

Visceral Manipulation

Visceral manipulation is a form of manual therapy that involves the gentle manipulation of the body's internal organs and surrounding tissues to improve their mobility and function, promote circulation, and alleviate pain and dysfunction.

Kezia is the absolute best physical therapist I have ever seen. She provides a nurturing and comfortable environment. This is the first time that I actually look forward to my appointment. I highly recommend Root Therapy, everyone is welcoming and you will leave satisfied with your overall experience.

“I have had a wonderful experience at Root Therapy and Wellness and have been recommending so many people to it! After a massive knee injury and surgery, these PTs and OTs have been complete game changers in my healing. They’ve helped my body release in ways my other PTs weren’t focusing on that have been instrumental in getting off a month of crutches, and healing things that have been bothering me for years (way before my knee injury). I’m so glad I found them and can utilize their wealth of knowledge as a major part of my healing team. Thanks Root Therapy + Wellness!!”
