racy has been in the healing practice since 1994 when she became a licensed Physical Therapist initially working in Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Home Health and Nursing Homes. In 2003, she began teaching Pilates and studying Yoga. This paved the way for opening a Yoga studio in 2005 that she operated until 2019. She continued seeing Physical Therapy clients on a private basis combining the tools of Physical Therapy, Pilates and Yoga during this time. She found this holistic combination was a wonderful tool to be used to help others obtain optimal health and well-being.

Educational background: Exercise Science degree in 1991 from Ohio State University, Physical Therapy degree in 1994 from Ohio State University, Licensed Physical Therapist 1994-1998 in Arizona, Licensed Physical Therapist 1998-2020 in Ohio, certification to teach Pilates through ProHealth and Fitness in 2003, Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in 2008, owner of The Studio on Liberty (yoga studio in Wooster, Ohio) 2005-2019. Owner of Rise Together Yoga, LLC in Bozeman since 2021 specializing in yoga treatment for trauma by focusing on the somatic, endocrine, lymphatic and the visceral body.

Multiple trainings, workshops and continuing education in Physical Therapy, yoga and Pilates throughout the years. She currently is training in lymphatic drainage and the visceral body.

Kezia Peterson

Owner, Occupational Therapist

Kezia Peterson is an Occupational Therapist and founder of Root Therapy & Wellness. As a result of multiple car accidents, resulting in chronic back and neck pain, as well as migraines and vision concerns, she understands this impact that this has on an individual’s ability to engage in daily activities, as well as work and play, and the mental challenges that can result from coping with pain on a daily basis.

Her understanding of pain has led her to pursue multiple different modalities of training, with the goal of helping her patients by meeting them where they are at, understanding their goals, and ensuring that they have the best team of providers to help them get to the root of their dysfunction in order to allow their systems to achieve healing from every level possible.

  • Kezia is currently undertaking the certification process to become an SEP – a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. This allows for her to support her patients in moving on from past traumas that may be contributing to their inability to move past pain patterns. She will complete her advanced level training and earn her certification in January 2024.
